AMWA Requests Feedback
AMWA’s Board of Directors (BOD) has been pursuing updates to streamline and align AMWA’s governing structure and documents. Recently you were asked to vote on AMWA’s updated Constitution. Today the AMWA Board is asking members to review AMWA’s proposed updated Bylaws and provide feedback.
Why are AMWA’s Bylaws being updated? To keep pace with the rapid technological, economic, social, and legal changes facing nonprofit organizations today.
Why are AMWA’s Bylaws being updated now? Because AMWA’s governance structure has been in place for many decades, but the landscape on which we operate today is vastly different than it was when our structure was created.
